Pizza Blend
Pizza Blend-Onion, garlic, oregano, anise seed, rosemary, green pepper and basil blended to make the perfect tasting pizza. Normally, I like to use fresh herbs and spices on my pizza, but sometimes we are in the mood to have pizza and don’t feel like going to the store. I always have mozzarella in the freezer, which is a staple in this family, so all I need is the topping. Net wt .5oz (14g) Serving size: 1 Tablespoon -Contains: 5 servings

I have been making this for years and I still get requests. The crust comes out thick and crispy and the flavors are incredible. You can also buy prepared dough. Also try adding my Scarborough Blend to your dough for fabulous Focaccia Bread.
For the dough:
4 c flour
1 package yeast
1 1/3 water
1 t sugar
2 Tbsp. olive oil
1 t salt
Dissolve sugar and yeast in water that is 85° (it is important you don’t exceed that temperature or you will kill the yeast. Also it has to be warm enough to activate it.) Let this sit for 10 minutes-you will begin to see it froth. Add all ingredients into large mixing bowl and blend well. You want a soft dough but not sticky. If you have a bread machine, use the dough program. Otherwise, kneed this by hand for 10 minutes until stretchy . Grease another large bowl with olive oil, shape dough into a ball. Place in bowl and cover with cellophane for at least 1 hour. This can either make one large thick crust or 2 thin crusts. Oil baking sheets (I use my broiler pan for one large) and pat and stretch dough to fit making a rim around the edge. Brush crust with olive oil. Let rest for another 15 minutes.
For a great sauce, try this!
1 (6 oz. can tomato paste
1-3 Tbsp. garlic, minced
1-2 Tbsp. SOUPER SPICES-PIZZA BLEND
1-2 Tbsp. extra virgin olive oil
1 ¼ cups water
Mix well and heat through. Top Pizza with sauce (not too heavy) and you favorite toppings such as:
Mozzarella-shredded, parmesan, sausage, pepperoni, mushrooms, onions, black olives
Bake at 400° for 25 minutes or until cheese is melted
