There is nothing better than a bowl of chicken soup using my Poultry Blend. It cures what ails you and if you’re feeling a little low or out of sorts, this recipe will make you feel better all over. I just love making wedding soup with this blend using my Italian Blend for the meatballs. It is a tastebud sensation!
Basic directions: Use one tablespoon in stocks, stews, soups, and sauces. Sprinkle on meats, fish, poultry and pasta. Cook time: 1 hour
1 whole chicken-cut up
4 stalks celery-diced
2 T extra virgin olive oil
1TB Souper Spices Poultry Blend
Salt and pepper
Kluski egg noodles (or any preferred pasta or rice)
Place chicken in a large pot and cover with water (about 2 quarts). Bring to a boil and simmer 30 minutes. Skim top to remove fat and froth. While the chicken is simmering, sauté veggies in oil until limp. Remove chicken and de-bone then return to pot. Add all ingredients to pot and simmer another 30 minutes. Serve over Kowalski thin egg noodles. Mmmmm mmmmm good.
